Ofcourse not completely up to me though, feel free to use inspect element to achieve an example though.

And well, you obviously design the site, so your voice stands for something of course.
IDK it's just a suggestion. Let's wait and see if the community and omni says anything. Take those two + your voice and decide.

I definitely like that. It’s very subtle and it gives the forums a less ‘boring’ look.

Problem with doing something like this is that on a large site, even a small image, when repeated 100's of times accross a page is going to cause slower loading when the amount of people on HF will be using. Ultimately Omni's decision/community. I don't think my voice should stand as much as you think, I'm an individual entity, and most of what I have done has been community or Omni's word as much as possible simply to me trying to cater to that :)

Yeah I get that. If it has to do with loading time indeed, but then, HF is like the only forum who has a perfect loading time, compared to others. A background is such a minor thing compared to some plugins that 'some' sites has. If anything, have it as default, and allow it to be disabled from UCP.

IDK. Am really fond of this bg ( https://i.ipixls.net/UAkO1fV.png ). It adds a really nice touch to the site.

Anyways. It's just a bg.

Keep up the good work on the site, the mobile friendly part of the site, which really matters.

Nah, it downloads the image once. That shouldn't take much time.

Then the CSS repeats it multiple times; that depends on the power of the machine, won't take long at all tbh..

Prefer a flat background for now.
